Both the X1 Carbon and XPS 15 have a lot to offer. The X1 Carbon is a super lightweight laptop with a svelte design, an outstanding keyboard and long battery life. It’s opponent, the XPS 15, flaunts many of those same perks but with a more powerful processor and discrete graphics. Unfortunately, those beefy components come at the expense of a heavier, less travel-friendly chassis. Clearly, each of these laptops has their pros and cons....

In that case, you need something like the 16-inch MacBook Pro or Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Extreme (Gen 2), two incredibly powerful laptops that can easily be slipped into a backpack or carried around the office. Apple’s latest 16-inch MacBook Pro impressed us in a big way when it launched last year. After a 400% year-over-year increase, there are now more Mac threats than PC threats, according to Malwarebytes’ “2020 State of Malware Report” [PDF (opens in new tab)]. Some of the increase in threats can be attributed to more Mac owners using Malwarebytes’ software, but there are other, more complicated reasons for the spike. As Malwarebytes notes, the number of threats per endpoints (or Mac system) increased from 4.8 in 2018 to 11 in 2019, or double the change discovered in Windows systems....

Microsoft is making it clear that you won’t see a big change all it once.
