Major changes are coming to Legion, starting with the product names. The two new laptops unveiled today are the Legion 5i and Legion 7i. No, these aren’t new BMW models, they’re successors to the Legion Y540 and Y740. We’re not sure what the new naming convention means (do they correspond with Intel CPUs?) but I appreciate the simplicity. Lenovo is teasing these new laptops alongside the launch of Intel’s 10th Gen Comet Lake-H CPUs and Nvidia’s RTX Super graphics....

Unfortunately, Lost in Random is also mechanically underwhelming. Combining an action RPG, card game and board game is a unique concept, but it lacks polish. There’s a few poorly realized board game gimmicks, a janky aiming system, and a lack of fresh enemy designs. The combat is competent enough to be fun, as the game boasts some memorable boss fights and encounters, but it gets frustrating. The omission of platforming feels like an oversight — jumping puzzles and challenges would’ve been perfect for a game like Lost in Random....

That might have been a mistake. Twitter user KomiyaLeaks, citing unnamed sources, says there will be no “October event” in which Apple unveils a MacBook with Apple Silicon (via Tom’s Guide). At first glance, it might sound like Komiya is implying there won’t be an ARM-powered MacBook this year, but take the claim word-for-word and it becomes more ambiguous. What Komiya specifically states is that the MacBook won’t be at an October event, not that it won’t arrive in 2020 altogether....

That name, coincidentally, goes well with the Magic Mouse and Magic Keyboard names for Apple’s iMac accessories. The dynamic touch bar notion makes a lot of sense, but should also be taken with a fairly massive grain of salt, as the Trademark Ninja story involves shell-company names and a ton of money changing hands. The hype has been building around the browser since late last year when Microsoft confirmed that it would be adopting Google’s open-source platform, Chromium, for the next version of Edge. Blass didn’t post any screenshots of Windows 10X’s interface but said that the lightweight version of Windows is meant for dual-screen devices and those with foldable displays. With Microsoft set to introduce Windows 10X at tomorrow’s event, there’s a good chance we’ll see Centaurus, the company’s long-awaited dual-screen device. Unlike Windows 10, which runs full programs, 10X will supposedly load most apps in containers, or virtualizations.
